The Dimpsey Experience

Hi, we're guessing that you're tired and looking to step back and relax. Maybe we can help? We’re Andrew & Emma and people have been escaping from the world of busy to our luxury shepherd huts since 2015. We live on a small historic farm on the Blackdown Hills in Somerset, which we’d love to share with you. Hide away in our delightfully private shepherd huts, each in their own field with stunning views (best enjoyed from the decadence of your own wood-fired hottub). Embrace all that nature has to offer outside and then retreat into your shepherd hut where a delightfully comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom and all the creature comforts await you. Perfect for Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast, you can hide away or venture out – the choice is yours… 2020 Covid update... We opened again on 4th July and are enjoying seeing our guests again. We know that currently you will be wanting to ensure that your break is as Covid safe as possible, so please be reassured that all government guidelines (& more) are followed in preparing your stay place for you.

“We loved our weekend in the hut. Great location – the views are stunning, so peaceful. Great accommodation – it’s beautiful every detail has been considered. Great host – Emma really looked after us even moving a noisy cow so we wouldn’t be disturbed (we didn’t even notice it). Highly recommended!”
